Prof. Tadeusz Kaczorek, PhD, Eng. D. Sc.
Prof. Tadeusz Kaczorek is an eminent Polish scholar of international standing in the field of technical sciences, specialising in electrical engineering and automation. For over 60 years, Professor Kaczorek’s academic and organisational work has been primarily associated with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, where he has held many important roles and senior management positions. His research focuses on control theory, the theory of dynamical systems, and the analysis and synthesis of multidimensional dynamical systems. He is among the group of Polish scholars whose research achievements have been recognised worldwide. The professor is also a pioneer in research into positive one- and two-dimensional dynamical systems. He is the founder of an internationally recognised school of thought in the field of control theory.

Prof. Jerzy Merkisz, PhD, Eng. D. Sc.
Prof. Jerzy Merkisz, PhD, Eng., from Poznań University of Technology, became the first person in the University’s history to receive the honorary title of Doctor Honoris Causa from the Casimir Pulaski University of Technology and Humanities in Radom. The ceremony took place on 17 June 2014 in the University’s Main Hall. The supervisor for the procedure to award the title was Prof. Sławomir Luft, PhD, Eng.,D.Sc. from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at our University. During the ceremony, Prof. Jerzy Merkisz delivered a commemorative lecture entitled “Exhaust emissions from vehicles in real-world traffic conditions”. Professor Jerzy Merkisz is an undisputed authority, both nationally and internationally, in the field of the design and operation of internal combustion engines. He is a scientist of extraordinary energy and diligence, as evidenced by his involvement in the work of numerous associations, expert panels, committees assessing the academic achievements and development of members of the academic community, as well as research centres. He is a man of exceptional kindness, gifted with the ability to collaborate skilfully with teams and to foster their cohesion. He has supervised numerous doctoral theses, mainly in the field of internal combustion engines, reviewed a number of postdoctoral theses, and assessed the overall academic output of candidates applying for the title of professor. He has also supervised engineering and master’s theses.

Prof. Wojciech Łączkowski, PhD D. Sc.
Prof. Wojciech Łączkowski was an outstanding and distinguished scholar, an undisputed authority both nationally and internationally in the field of administrative and financial law. He was a teacher and mentor to many generations of academic staff, a man who supported the staff of our University, and a man who served the academic community with his knowledge and experience. The Professor was a scholar of extraordinary energy and diligence. He supervised numerous master’s and doctoral theses, reviewed a number of postdoctoral theses, and assessed the academic achievements of candidates applying for the title of professor. Professor also held a number of important public offices – he was a judge of the Constitutional Tribunal, as well as a member and subsequently chairman of the National Electoral Commission, and a member of the Monetary Policy Council. He was a man of exceptional kindness, gifted with the ability to collaborate skilfully with teams and to foster their cohesion. The supervisor of the procedure for the award of the title was Assoc. Prof. Joanna Smarż, PhD, D. Sc.

Prof. Panagiotis E. Kaldis PhD D. Sc.
Professor Panagiotis Kaldis is a distinguished scholar in the fields of economics and finance. His academic and teaching career, spanning nearly 40 years, has been associated with research centres and universities in Greece and abroad. Throughout his career, the Professor has placed particular emphasis on establishing and developing international cooperation within the Erasmus+ programme. It is precisely this activity that has enabled many years of fruitful cooperation with the Casimir Pulaski University of Radom. The Professor has held many important positions in Greek government bodies – he was a member of the board of the National Centre for Information on the Recognition of Qualifications, and Deputy Secretary-General at the National Centre for Administration and Local Government. Professor Kaldis was awarded the title of Honorary Professor at Guglielmo Marconi University in Italy, the title of Visiting Professor at the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shanghai, and the title of Professor at Shenyang University.
The ceremony conferring the doctorate Honoris Causa of the Casimir Pulaski University of Radom upon Prof. Kaldis took place on 4 April 2025. The supervisor of the proceedings was Prof. Piotr Misztal, PhD, D. Sc.

Prof. Marian Gorynia, PhD, D. Sc.
Professor Marian Gorynia was born in 1956 in Dusin (Wielkopolska Province). He completed his master’s degree in 1980 at the Poznań Academy of Economics (renamed the Poznań University of Economics on 27 December 2008). From the start of his professional career, he has been inextricably linked to the university, where he has risen through all the ranks. Professor Marian Gorynia is an undisputed authority in the fields of international economics and international management, including international competitiveness. Professor Marian Gorynia has made a significant contribution to the development of economic theory, particularly in the field of international competitiveness. His research into corporate strategies in the context of globalisation has brought a new perspective to the dynamics of contemporary international markets. Thanks to his work, Polish economic scholarship has gained new tools for analysing and interpreting economic phenomena.
On 2 October 2025, he was awarded the doctorate Honoris Causa of the Casimir Pulaski University of Radom.

Prof. Pantelis Kyrmizoglou, PhD, D. Sc.
Professor Pantelis Kyrmizoglou is a distinguished scholar in the fields of economics and finance. His research interests focus primarily on corporate finance, financial management, risk management and banking. These research interests have resulted in a number of publications in English, both in peer-reviewed academic journals and as chapters in monographs. Professor Pantelis Kyrmizoglou has been collaborating with the Casimir Pulaski University of Radom, and in particular with the Faculty of Economics and Finance, for over 20 years. This long-standing collaboration is both academic and educational in nature. It takes the form of international exchanges of lecturers and students under the Erasmus programme, participation in international academic conferences, and joint publications in academic monographs. Thanks to the commitment of Professor Pantelis Kyrmizoglou, it has been possible to establish academic and teaching cooperation with other research centres in Greece and beyond, and to expand the international network of researchers who regularly collaborate with the University.
On 20 November 2025, he was awarded the doctorate Honoris Causa of the Casimir Pulaski University of Radom.

Prof. Krzysztof Jajuga, PhD, D. Sc.
Professor Krzysztof Jajuga was born in 1956 in Wrocław. He completed his master’s degree in 1979 at the Wrocław University of Economics. From the very start of his professional career, he has been inextricably linked to the university, where he has risen through all the ranks. He obtained his PhD in 1982 and his postdoctoral degree in economics in 1987. In 1992, as a 36-year-old academic (one of the youngest in the history of economics), he was awarded the title of Professor of Economics by the President of the Republic of Poland. Since 1995, he has held the position of professor at the Wrocław University of Economics. Professor Jajuga’s research interests include: statistical and econometric analysis of multidimensional data, the functioning of financial markets, and financial risk analysis. Professor Krzysztof Jajuga holds positions on international institutions. Since 1994, he has been a member of the Scientific Council of the International Federation of Classification Societies, an international scientific organisation bringing together over a dozen national societies engaged in data classification and analysis. He was elected president of this global organisation for the years 2025–2026.
On 15 May 2026, he was awarded the doctorate Honoris Causa by the Casimir Pulaski University of Radom.
