Studying PHILOLOGY (ENGLISH language teaching) you will acquire knowledge and skills in the field of:
- lexis and grammar of the English language,
- history of literature, language and culture of English speaking countries useful to pursue the teaching profession,
- you will obtain qualifications to practice as a teacher after completing 1st and 2nd cycle studies

Studying APPLIED LINGUISTICS, you will acquire knowledge and skills in the following areas:
- knowledge of English and German at the C1 level and a third foreign language (Spanish, Russian) at the B2 level,
- using the language as the basic tool of interpersonal communication,
- specialist translations in the fields of: law, commerce, economics, international communication, cinematography and theatre.
Career prospects include:
as a sworn, court, wiretapping or expert translator in uniformed services, as well as in the European Parliament, European Commission, European Court of Justice and private companies.

Studying SPECIAL PEDAGOGY, you will acquire knowledge and skills in the field of:
- pedagogy and psychology of people with disabilities,
- methods of working in an inclusive, integrated and special school,
- methods of supporting the independence of adults with disabilities,
- depending on the selected scope, you will be prepared to educate and rehabilitate people with intellectual disabilities or educate and treat people with autism spectrum disorders.
Career prospects include:
kindergartens, special, integration and public schools, rehabilitation clinics, family support centres, community centres,
care and education facilities for people with intellectual disabilities and autism.

Studying PSYCHOLOGY, you will acquire knowledge and skills in the field of:
- mechanisms of the human psyche,
- specific changes and dilemmas of childhood, adolescence and adulthood, family functioning, interactions between individuals and social groups building relationships, work environment, personalities, mental health and its disorders,
- diagnosis and psychological therapy of children, adolescents and adults,
- various approaches of psychotherapeutic schools.

hospitals, clinics, outpatient clinics, hospices, psychologist counselling rooms, schools, children’s homes, intervention
centers and institutions providing support in difficult situations (police, judiciary, prisons, army), training and consulting
companies, HR departments, in marketing research, data analysis and institutions related to the labour market.

Studying PHYSICAL EDUCATION, you will acquire knowledge and skills in the field of:
- anatomy and anthropology,
- exercise physiology,
- biochemistry,
- pedagogy,
- psychology,
- theory of sport, motor skills and physical education methodology,
- individual and team sports, compensatory and corrective exercises,
- health education, dietetics and motor skills preparation.
Career prospects include:
a physical education teacher or instructor of particular sports disciplines, in physical culture facilities, in sports, recreational and leisure organizations operating for the benefit of sport.
